The Haven Companion is a sleek, discreet attachable device designed to enhance safety and wellness for older adults or anyone who wants added peace of mind. It blends health monitoring and protective features seamlessly into everyday life. No bulky pendants or obvious “alert buttons.”
Fall Detection: Sensors detect sudden changes in movement (e.g. a fall) and automatically trigger alerts if help might be needed, even if the wearer can’t press a button.
Heart Rate Monitoring: Continuously tracks heart rate to detect irregularities or patterns that could indicate health concerns.
GPS Location Tracking: Keeps real-time location data so caregivers or family can monitor where the wearer is, in case of disorientation, emergency, or simple checking.
Medical Alerts: Provides instant notifications for critical situations, including falls, abnormal heart rate patterns, long periods of inactivity, or unexpected changes in movement. Alerts are sent directly to caregivers or family members through the paired app so they can respond quickly and effectively.
How it works
The Haven Companion attaches easily to your already familiar and trusted walker. It pairs with a companion app (for caregivers or family) to provide instant notifications for critical situations, including falls, abnormal heart rate patterns, long periods of inactivity, or unexpected changes in movement. When it senses an event (like a fall or abnormal vital signs), the device communicates with the app to send push notifications or SMS to predefined contacts. All data is encrypted to protect user privacy.
Beyond detection and alerts, the Haven Companion continuously learns from daily activity patterns to improve accuracy over time. Its sensors monitor motion, gait changes, and heart-rate trends, helping caregivers spot early signs of health concerns.
